Positional Statement Series Part 6: Concerning How to Encounter Satan

Satan is also the enemy of God. Satan rests to defeat God. However, his time is limited. In Revelation, it tells us who the final victor would be in the cosmic war against Satan. It is God. Satan, also, seeks to infest the world with his mind tricks. His mind tricks include materialism, and all the “isms.” Satan seeks to devour Christians. According to Peter, Believers have to stay alert against Satan’s deadly spiritual attacks. These spiritual attacks can come at night or come any time. We, as Christians, must be aware that Satan is actively working against us and God’s angels are battling for us. As Paul states in Ephesians 6:10-20, we need to embrace the full armor of God to wage war against Satan. Satan seeks to destroy our joy. Satan is active and ready to pounce on the weak Christians. In order to counteract Satan’s deadly attacks, we need to not forsake the assembly of believers. When we embrace the assembly of believers, we are stronger and more resilient against Satan’s deadly mind tricks (Hebrews 10:24-25).
