Daily Encouragements: 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
Why does God allow the diseases and famines in the world today? God allows diseases and famines in the world today to adjust our mindset on Jesus Christ. Placing our Mindset on Jesus Christ can lead us on a path that is eternal. Not placing our mindset on Jesus on Jesus Christ can lead us on a path that is temporary. We need to focus on what is unseen which is faith, not on the seen.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NIV) states, “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
This is an amazing truth. Faith in Christ outweighs all the light and momentary troubles like COVID-19. Though we need to be prepared, we should fix our eyes on the God who stays like 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 states. fixing our eyes on Jesus Christ helps us not lose hope.
