Daily Encouragements: 1 Peter 5:7

All we see on the news today is about the impending danger of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The news stories are not relieving our Anxieties, but God is relieving our anxieties. School is not alleviating our concerns, but Jesus Christ is easing our worries. 1 Peter 5:7 expresses an inescapable truth about how Jesus Christ cares for you, so cast your burdens on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 states, “Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.” This is an important message.

God cares for you. When you down, God cares for you. When you are happy, God cares for you. No addiction can relieve your anxieties. Only Jesus Christ can alleviate your fears. “Cast all your anxieties on him.” This means that you do not have to carry the heavy burdens of anxieties or worries, but you can rest on Jesus Christ to relieve you of your difficulties because Jesus Christ cares for you.
