God is our only hope

God, you are amazing.

You are saving.

You are saving people.

People need to climb the pole.

The pole of hope.

You provide hope.

People cope.

God is our only hope.

While people mope.

Mope in their homes.

While students are counting their dimes.

While we feel shipwrecked in isolation,

We need to get through the motion.

The motion of COVID-19.

We get through the motion with God.

Who is always good?

God is good all the time.

While our time is clicking by.

God is our only hope.

So, Climb aboard God’s ship of hope.
