Coronavirus Poem Series Part 4
Coronavirus, please go Away
By
Andrew Hawkins
Coronavirus, Coronavirus, please go away.
You are interfering catastrophically.
You are costing people their jobs.
Which leaves them in their robes.
Coronavirus, Coronavirus, people are social distancing.
You should be leaving.
People feel shipwrecked in their homes.
Dreaming about going to Rome.
Coronavirus, Coronavirus, students are missing running track.
But they lose track.
They lost track of time.
Students are counting their dimes.
America, America, you are doing great.
People are listening to a specific beat.
America, America, you have shut down.
Self-quarantining is occurring in towns.
The COVID-19 virus is a mass pandemic.
That has caused a global economic breakdown.
One thing remains.
God is in control of the whole world.
People are getting old.
Getting old of the news.
Christians are not getting old.
Not getting old of the Bible.
The Bible holds the Truth.
The Truth of the Gospel.
We should be sanctifying in the Truth.
We should climb about the ship.
The Ship of God.
God is ultimately good.
All the time.
