Coronavirus Poem 14: The Struggles of a Writer
The Struggles of a Writer
By
Andrew Hawkins
The words stare at me.
No time.
The plot is drawn
The character arcs stare me down.
What shall I do?
What shall I do?
Should I stop and wait?
Should I stay and wait?
I am not that good.
I am trusting in God.
God will help.
I stare off in the distance and yelp.
The Words do not flow
I am feeling low
Because I do not know
Am I a good writer?
Should I be an entrepreneur?
