Biblical Discipleship is “Helping another believer make biblical changes towards Christ-likeness” (Paul Tautges. Counseling one Another: A Theology on Interpersonal discipleship. Wapwallopen, PA: Shepherd Press, 2009.) This is very important to the emotional and spiritual recovery. Without discipleship, you will not be able to grow as quickly in Christlikeness. Biblical Change is only comes from within the heart, not by doing the right action. Right knowledge leads to the right character and the right character leads to the right action. Our Actions are the result of our character. Our Character should be one of Christlikeness that is why discipling one another is crucial step on the path of emotional and Spiritual recovery.
Everyday, we should strive to follow God all the more. God wants us to be less anxious and rely on Him more and more. 1 Peter 5:7 states, “Cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you.” Also, Philippians 4:13 states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” God is the only one who can get you through the emotional and spiritual recovery. You can not rely on addictions or drugs to get you through the storms of life.
You can only rely on God to help you get through the storms in Life.
This is a very important Truth. Jesus is the only answer to your worry, anxiety, fear, and depression. Only Trusting Jesus and relying on others through Biblical Discipleship, you can get through the storms of life.
Relying on others on your spiritual and emotional recovery can help you be encouraged that you are not alone in this journey. Other people are alongside you cheering you to trusting in God on during this raging storm of life.

Relying on Jesus Christ can help you find purpose, meaning, and fulfillment. Nothing else can get give you a sense of purpose, meaning, and fulfillment. Jesus is the only Answer.
God loved you so much that sent his only Son to die a ransom for many. Jesus died a painful death to save you from your sin. Just three days later, he rose again to demonstrate that He had conquer death. Once you believe that Jesus is died for you and you confess your sin, You are now adopted in the family of God. John 1:12-13 confirms that once you believe in Jesus Christ, you are a child of God. Nothing else can get you into heaven except through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Please accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior because he is the only one to save you from depression, anxiety, fear, and worry. Once you accept him and Trust in Him, seek others to help you grow in Christ-likeness because Biblical Discipleship is an important step in the emotional and spiritual recovery.

Only by God we are able to conquer fear, worry, depression, and anxiety, Our hearts truly longs for Jesus Christ.
